Dr Hossein M. Ghomshei has given 35 lectures and seminars to the Temenos Academy over the course of 18 years. On most you will hear   Dr Ghomshei introduced by Dr Leonard Lewisohn; you will also occasionally hear the voice of Dr Kathleen Raine.

Dr Hossein M. Ghomshei is a former Director of the National Library of Iran. A master of the art of Islamic calligraphy, translator of Shakespeare and Kathleen Raine into Persian, and the author of many books on Persian poetry, he has a virtuoso knowledge of Arabic, English and Persian Literature.  A Fellow of the Temenos Academy, Dr Ghomshei is revered for his learning and also for his warmth and humility.
